U.S. Sailing Certification Courses
We
teach the entire progression of U.S. Sailing Certification Courses.
These sailing lessons are formatted to turn an absolute novice into a
competent ocean sailor. If you follow the courses in order, taking your
time where necessary to practice and hone certain skills, you will
become a competent sailor.
Each 2 to 7 day sailing class in this 6-level progression builds upon the previous course.

Basic Keelboat 1 & 2
Basic Cruising & Bareboat Cruising
Coastal Navigation
Coastal Passage Making
Ocean Passage Making
The
U.S. Sailing Association is the national governing body for the sport
of sailing in the United States since 1897. U.S. Sailing certified
instructors are the top professionals in the field. Their Keelboat
training and certification program is the best available in the United States.
Students
with existing sailing backgrounds may opt to enter the progression
mid-way by taking a challenge exam which consists of a practical and
written portion and takes about 3 hours.
