Combo Course Packages. Students obtain a discounted rate when purchasing regular courses in bulk: Basic Keelboat through Bareboat Cruising: $2875 Basic Keelboat through Coastal Navigation: $4660
Refresher Classes. You may retake any U.S. Sailing Certified course that you have previously taken with us at 1/2 price at any time that you would like to refresh yourself on its content. Many students who have not been sailing for some time since their last class chose this option before preceding.
Course Challenge. If you have extensive sailing experience but no formal sail training, you may opt to skip a course(s) and enter a higher level course. In order to skip a course, you need to take the Challenge Exam for that course. Each Challenge Exam consists of a practical and a written portion. The costs for the Challenge Exams are as follows:
These are ideal for refreshers and short customized lessons. Certifications are not required and are not included in the rate. Most certifications cost an additional $150 per student; Coastal Navigation certification costs an additional $395.
Prices are for one student, but up to 3 additional students may be added for a cost of $100 per person.
