OSA's Melges 24 racing clinics are held onboard the actual racing vessels. Graduates are eligible to qualify for the OSA Racing Team in the Melges Worlds, Key West Race Week, Annapolis NOODs, Melges National, Charleston Race Week and Atlantic Coast Championship/King’s Day Regatta.
Graduate certifications include: Tactician, Helmsperson, Spinnaker Trimmer, Jib Trimmer, Fore Deck and World Class Regatta Crew
Melges 24 Racing Clinic - Part 1
This course entails a three-day introductory racing clinic. The course includes racing rules, tactics, sail handling and crew teamwork.
Melges 24 Racing Clinic - Part 2
This course entails a three-day advanced racing clinic. The course includes advanced tactics, close quarter, upwind, downwind, starting and weight placement in heavy, moderate and light air.
